Roaf to HOF?

Come this Saturday afternoon the Pro Football Hall of Fame will name anywhere from 4 to 7 new members. First time candidate Willie Roaf should be a sure thing. Other first timers include Jerome Bettis, Marshall Faulk, Curtis Martin and Deion Sanders.
Roaf spent the majority of his 13 year career with the New Orleans Saints, but I will always remember him for his stint as a Kansas City Chief. During his 4 years with the Chiefs, he was named to the pro bowl every year.
During his stint with the Chiefs, the team led the league in scoring and yardage. Behind his blocking Running Backs Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson had career seasons.
In 13 seasons, Roaf was named to the pro bowl in all but 2 years. His 11 trips among Offensive Tackles is tied for first along with Anthony Munoz and Jonathan Ogden. Munoz is already enshrined in Canton and Ogden not eligible yet.
In 1993 Roaf was drafted in the first round with the 8th pick by the Saints. He was named to both the NFL's 1990's 2000's All Decade Teams. Roaf was also named an AP All-Pro 10 times during his career.
After suffering a season ending injury in 2001, Roaf was traded to the Chiefs for a conditional draft pick.
To be elected for enshrinement a candidate must receive 80% vote from the panel. The Class of 2011 will be announced on the NFL Network at 6:00 PM (CST).
