Tennessee Titans: Life without Jeff Fisher

"I want to thank Mr. Adams and the organization for a special 17 years. I can't thank the fans enough for the support they have showed us during the years; it has been a tremendous experience. We all did our very best and I think I can look back with fond memories and be very proud of what we accomplished. I want to wish the organization, the current players and the fans nothing but the best in the future."

Those are the words of Jeff Fisher in his last press conference with the Tennessee Titans.

The Replacement:

The Titans are now searching for a new head coach, and as of now, the leader for the job seems to be their current offensive line coach, Mike Munchak.
Munchak has been the Titans Offensive line coach for 14 years ,and around the league he is known as one of the best position coaches.
Other possible choice are; Mike Himerdinger (current Offensive coordinator for the Titans,) Gregg Williams (current defensive coordinator for the Saints,) or Perry Fewell (current Defensive coordinator for the Giants.) Gregg Williams was an assistant on the Titans/Oilers staff from 1990 to 2000 before leaving to become head coach of the Bills, while Perry Fewell has ties to the Nashville area as he was an assistant at Vanderbilt University a while back. If I had to make a prediction on who the next head coach of the Titans would be, I would say it will be Mike Munchak, but only time will tell.
