Ray Lewis Will be Back

There have been rumors floating around the NFL that 12 time Pro Bowler Ray Lewis will retire this off-season. Lewis is 35 and near the end of his career as one of the greatest linebackers of all time. Lewis played all 16 games in the 10-11 season. He recorded 102 solo tackles, 2 sacks and one interception. Lets face it, Ray is getting old. He is getting a bit slower every year. There were tackles he missed this year that he could of made with ease about five years ago. At this point in his career Lewis is still one of the best linebackers in the league but he plays his game with his head and not his body. He spends a lot of time watching film and studying the opposing team's game plan. Ray is a director of the defense. He is that player that everyone looks up to and respects. Entering the last season of his contract, this could be Ray's last year. The Ravens need to make the best of it. Baltimore may never see a linebacker ever again as great as Ray Lewis. If Lewis does decide to come back after this season, I only see him signing a three year deal at the most.
