Koch Inks New Deal

Sam Koch signed a 5-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday. Koch has made a name for himself in Baltimore as one of the best Punters in the league. Koch, 28, had 81 punts in the 2010 season with a total of 3,53o yards. He pinned the opponent inside the 20 yard line 39 times which ranked second in the league. Koch averaged 43.6 yards a kick with a long of 60 yards.

The Ravens have arguably the best kicking game in the league after signing both Billy Cundiff and Sam Koch within the past two weeks. Koch was an alternate punter in the Pro Bowl behind Oakland Raider Shane Lechler. The native from Seward, Nebraska will now be putting the opposing team inside the 20 for years to come.
